I haven’t seen this guy since March 16th, his energy is contagious swipe to see what I’m talking about. I couldn’t be more thankful to work at this salon and to be able to call this dude my friend. 2 long months ago hairstylist around the world were loving each other helping each other grow and inspiring one another. Now a days it’s more of a political battle, some stylist feel the need to get back to the salon for various reasons (maybe a single parent that needs to feed their family) or stylists that feel the need to stay away for various reasons (maybe they themselves or a loved one has a compromised immune system) either way we are all in this together. Some people have been more vocal about their opinions (I’m guilty of this) and others who are less vocal, but what I have noticed is the great divide and honestly some pretty hateful stuff has been said if people don’t agree. What happened?? What does this look like when it’s all over? Are we united again or are we forever divided?

At this moment you and I should be doing our grand entrance at our wedding surrounded by friends and family I’m sad it’s not happening today but it gives me another day to look forward to calling @miss.darling.monique my wife.

4 years ago today was my first day @theyoungamericansalon I was terrified to start a new salon after working at my previous salon for 11 years. I was welcomed with open arms and everyone made me feel welcomed, like I’d always worked there. Not a day goes by that I’m not thankful to work here. This was my first day at the salon and if anyone one knows @forrest_theyoungamerican and @theyoungamericansalon they would know the saying “sorry for partying” I miss the salon so much and I can’t wait to get back. 🖤🖤🤘🏻
